This agreement is a legal contract between you and Lantern VPN (referred to as the 'Service Provider') regarding the downloading, installation, and use of the mobile VPN application (referred to as the 'App').
By downloading or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this agreement. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, translate app text, or create derivative versions without authorization. Intellectual property rights in the App, trademarks, interface, and related content belong to the Service Provider. To maintain service quality, we may adjust features, plans, or pricing and will communicate material changes where appropriate. You are responsible for device security and account confidentiality; jailbreaking or rooting a device may cause app malfunction or security risk.
This Service may integrate necessary third-party services, such as Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. When using the Service, you are also subject to the applicable terms of those third-party providers.
Service limitations: the App depends on a stable network environment, including Wi-Fi or mobile data. The Service Provider is not responsible for inability to use the service caused by unpaid device bills, data limits, signal quality, local network policy, or carrier conditions. Mobile data charges may apply outside Wi-Fi. If you enable roaming outside your home country, roaming fees are your responsibility. Please make sure you have permission from the bill payer before use.
Users are responsible for their own usage behavior. For example, inability to access the service because of battery depletion, disabled system permissions, or third-party app conflicts is not covered by compensation. We strive to provide accurate routing information, but some network data may come from third-party partners, and we are not liable for direct or indirect losses resulting from such information. The App may release updates from time to time for compatibility and security, and you agree to install current versions when necessary. The Service Provider reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate service within a reasonable scope.
